This project was fun to do as I was able to create 3 magazine spreads with the use of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator based on 3 novels of our choice to work on how to layout magazines with images, titles and body text.
A Series of Unfortunate Events: The concept was to make a very unfortunate event that the Baudelaire siblings were hiding in a dark and dusty room but to their surprise, Count Olaf found them. The whole design is purely vector illustration.
The Vampire Diaries: There were a lot of tombs, dead people, vampires, blood, journals or diaries that revolved around the story that I wanted to incorporate in the design. The work is made through photo and text manipulation.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: I wanted to create a whimsical and delicious design. I made a top hat to symbolize Willy Wonka and made the chocolate bar alongside with the golden ticket that was part of the story. The design was a mix of illustration and text manipulation.
